Information for Advisees

Advising Information for MKT, ACS, GBU, and MGT Majors:

In order to better serve our students' advising needs, all DAY classes offered through the MMAC department on March 15, 2005 and March 16, 2005 will be cancelled, so that we can offer a two-day advising period. All NIGHT classes scheduled on those two days will meet at the regular time. All GBU, MGT, MKT, and ACS majors are required to come for an advising session with their academic advisor during these two days. Academic advisors will be available in Combs 105, 213, and 216 on March 15th and 16th from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Any student who does not take advantage of this advising opportunity will be advised the last two days of the advising period. Advising sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board outside Combs 215.

Before you come to an advising appointment:

1. Carefully review the EKU Catalog that governs your enrollment to make sure you are familiar with the courses you must successfully complete in order to earn a BBA with a major in marketing. The current EKU undergraduate catalog (2004-2006) is at http://www.undergradstudies.eku.edu/catalog/. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the catalog.

2. Carefully review your CARES report to make sure it is correct and you know what courses you must successfully complete in order to graduate. You can access your CARES report at http://www.eku.edu/cares/. The current class schedulebook is at the Banner site http://www.online.eku.edu/help.php.
