Internet
Marketing Plan, Web Marketing Site, and Oral Presentation
Each team
will submit two copies of their written Internet Marketing Plan and two
discs of the Web marketing site, one for the client and one to be graded,
on Tuesday, 4/26/05. Each team will make a formal presentation of their
proposed Web marketing site to the client and class on that day. The oral
presentation is valued at 30 points; the written Internet Marketing Plan
is valued at 140 points; and the Web marketing site is valued at 80 points.
Plans will
be evaluated on professionalism, quality, sufficiency, Internet marketing
insight, EFFORT, and mechanics, including following directions. Each team
member will be asked to evaluate
his/her own contribution to this project as well as the merit of the contributions
of each team member. These evaluations will be taken into consideration
in determining grades for each team member. Any individual who fails to
submit an evaluation will receive an "I" for the course until
the evaluation is received.
Each team
member must participate in the oral presentation. Team members are advised
to carefully consult the tips
page. Points will be deducted for failure to heed this list! Professional
business attire is required. The oral presentation is of the Web marketing
site. Explanations must be provided for all site features.
Internet
Marketing Plan Format
Each plan must be typed, single spaced, standard margins, one side of
page. Type font must be a standard professional font (Times New Roman,
Times, etc.), 12 point, and printed so it can be read without difficulty
(no light ink!). Single space typing with a blank line between paragraphs.
Submit the plans in notebooks with tabs or spiral bound with tabs; tabs
must be typed. They are used to separate major headings. Begin each major
heading on its own page. The table of contents MUST include accurate page
numbers. Each page must be numbered (typed NOT hand written!). Plans must
be submitted in an appropriate spiral or 3-ring binder. Do NOT use a plastic
binder with a plastic slide clip.
The cover
sheet must list the class, client, team member names, and date.
Examples
of major headings are listed below. Each major heading must also have
subheadings (see examples from class). Your major headings may differ
somewhat from those listed below. If you have any questions about the
format or plan, ask now!
